My Start: Sharing Knowledge About Polarion and AI in Software Development

Hi, I’m Phillip — a 28-year-old software engineer, consultant, and long-time explorer of the Polarion ecosystem. For nearly a decade, I’ve been helping teams customize, extend, and truly understand Polarion — turning complex requirements into elegant, automated solutions.

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients across industries, solved tricky implementation challenges, and learned what makes Polarion both powerful and occasionally puzzling in real-world projects. Alongside that, I’ve become fascinated by the potential of AI — not just as a buzzword, but as a genuine partner for developers: one that saves time, improves quality, and sparks better ideas.

I want to document what I’ve learned, share useful insights, and explore how AI can make Polarion smarter, faster, and ready for the future.

This blog is where those two worlds meet.

Why AI Matters

In addition to my work with Polarion, I’ve become deeply involved with Artificial Intelligence over the past few years.
Unfortunately, AI is still underutilised in our field, even though it offers incredible potential.

I want to explore how AI can support and improve the development process — from smart code generation and requirements analysis to automated reporting and test management.

Big shout-out to my friend and the creator of that blog — he’s done an outstanding job providing valuable tutorials and insights.

My own focus here will be on more advanced topics, practical development insights, and future directions, particularly around AI and its role in the Polarion ecosystem.
