We are nearly at the end of the coaching, and we are all in the same boat: chats that grow too big, too many open threads, and token usage that now lands on the bill. This week is context and token efficiency, plus an open-questions live session on Thursday, 25 June at 10:00.
You have probably felt this already. The longer a chat with Copilot runs, the worse it gets. It starts hallucinating methods that do not exist, mixes up your classes, and forgets what you told it ten messages ago. Once the context grows too big, it spends half its energy just summarizing what is already there instead of solving the problem in front of you.
That is not Copilot being dumb. That is context management, and it is the last big lever we have not pulled yet.
